ABOUT THE ARTIST

Artist Statement

Alisa Burachuk is a contemporary artist and designer focused on natural themes, combining with abstraction. Working across mixed media, acrylic, and oil, her vision of the environment is delicate and timeless. With an intentionally soft and pale palette, she reveals a fresh take on classic beauty .

Her latest collection explores the dialogue between art and design. By creating her canvas digitally, using repetitive patterns, she then applies paint to watch the dynamism of organic and non-organic shapes interfere with the space in harmony and order. Traditional still life with a contemporary twist.

Burachuk navigates the contemporary art world with a practice that bridges softness and structure, nature and abstraction, vintage and modern, where traditions meet technology.

Her collection’s stories whispers with delicate and intentional approach, honouring elegance and contemporary clarity.

Inspiration is everywhere. I capture the brightest moments of my experience and transfer them as messages on canvas. Sensitive, colourful and dynamic, my paintings represent my ideology, yet give viewers an opportunity to create their own.

MY WORLD

I’m a passionate person and easily carried away by a tune or a shadow playing on the leaves on a hot summer day.

***

In my home you can always find vintage pieces, good food, soft music, and a bouquet of fresh flowers

Spending a lot of time outdoors, I am always inspired by nature—its beauty and fragility

***

As much as I am a minimalist, I also pay attention to the little details that give a space a bright and delicate accent

During my hiking trips, I always bring something with me:

pine cones, snags, stones, or shells

Collectors Reviews

Femke Schellekens

Alisa is a talented artist and I am very happy to have one of her unique artworks in my house. I saw this particular painting and I was immediately drawn to it.

What I love about Alisa’s work is that it is very colourful and often inspired by nature’s beautiful scenery. And this painting matches perfectly with the colours in my house. I enjoy looking at it every day!

Ellen Moons-Rademakers

Alisa has been a great guide by helping me to choose the painting I really wanted.

In her paintings she captures the different emotions one feels while looking at the subject. She picked up on my personal emotions and thus guided me to “my” painting. As a result the painting now hangs in my home, looking like it has always been there. A perfect fit!

Loet Van Bree

I came into contact with Alisa through a good friend, as I was looking for colour in my new home and wanted something unique.

After a short introduction, Alisa sensed exactly what I was looking for and presented some warm and colourful sketches.

Fortunately, I did not have to wait long for the end result and it is a nice addition to my home. Well done Alisa!
